Information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide to us such as name, address, contact information, passwords and security data, payment information, and social media login data.

Employee data – On behalf of our customers, we process the personal data of their employees such as Name, email, phone number, address, bank account details, salary information, date of birth, photo, signature and identification proof such as PAN, Driving License, Passport number, Aadhaar Card number, Registration numbers allotted under various Labour Laws

Payment Data – We collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument.

All payment data is stored by our payment gateway processor and you should review its privacy policies and contact the payment processor directly to respond to your questions.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information collected through our apps

We may collect information regarding your geo-location, mobile device, push notifications, when you use our apps.

If you use our Apps, we may also collect the following information:

a) Geo-Location Information. We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application, to provide location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

b) Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s [ calendar, camera, microphone, sensors, storage,] and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

c) Mobile Device Data. We may automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model and manufacturer), operating system, version information and IP address.

d) Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the mobile application.

Information we collect automatically

Cookies - When you visit IOT Mentor, we send one or more cookies - a small file containing a string of characters - to your computer / mobile device that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies primarily for user authentication but may also use them to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences and tracking user trends.

When you visit IOT Mentor software, we send one or more cookies - a small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, browser settings, the date and time of your request, device model, the device identifier (or “UDID”), query logs, product usage logs, usage pattern through cookies and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser. We also collect clicks, scrolls, conversion and drop-off on our Websites and Service.

Analytics Information - We and our third party partners use technologies such as web beacons / clear-gifs in administering the website, tracking users’ movements around the site, analyzing trends and gathering demographic information about our visitors. We may receive reports from these Partners on an individual and aggregated basis. For this purpose, we may also share anonymous data about your actions on our Websites with these third-party partners.

Information from third-party sources

IOT Mentor may obtain personal information about you from third parties, including, but not limited to, marketing event organizers, partners, and resellers. This information, among other things, may include your first and last name, company name, job title, work email address, phone number and address. IOT Mentor requires that any third party providing it with information has obtained the information lawfully and the third party has obtained the appropriate consent to share the information with IOT Mentor. We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.

b) To provide services contracted with you – Paybooks will use the information you share to provide services contracted with you such as staffing services, payroll management, compliance and regulatory services, HR management, tax planning and advisory services,

We and/or our third party marketing partners may use the personal information you send to us for our marketing purposes, if this is in accordance with your marketing preferences.

We use the legitimate interests’ legal basis for processing direct marketing mailers/phone calls and have identified that our interests are to provide you with high quality, best in industry, Time Attendance & Payroll automation systems to help you efficiently and effectively manage your Time Attendance & Payroll operations.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process.

Information Sharing

IOT Mentor only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of IOT Mentor in the following limited circumstances:

Age Restriction and Children’s Privacy Protection
